# Frame48 > Frame48 is a 3D motion design studio in Culver City, Los Angeles. We build a photoreal digital version of your product from CAD files, engineering data, or physical samples, then turn that one asset into everything a launch needs: hero films, product animation, e-commerce stills, key visuals, OOH, and social. - Founded: 2016 - Location: 6110 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232 (Los Angeles) - Founders: Tom Teller (Founder & Executive Creative Director), Julian Conner (Co-Founder & Executive Producer) - Clients include Sonos, Lenovo, Shimano, Lazer, Alo, and The UPS Store, amongst other leading technology, sports, and consumer brands. - Member: 1% for the Planet - New business: hello@frame48.com ## How we work 1. Build the digital product: Using CAD files, engineering data, or physical samples, we recreate your product in CG. Every material, finish, tolerance, and component is built to match the real thing. 2. Design the world: Look development, environments, lighting, cinematography, motion, and pacing, each crafted to express the product’s identity. This is where engineering becomes storytelling. 3. One asset, every deliverable: One source of truth flows across launch films, retail displays, social content, still imagery, and future campaigns, so nothing is rebuilt for each request. ## Services ### [Hero Films](https://frame48.com/services#hero-films) Hero films and product animation define the campaign and tell the product’s story through polished motion and audio. We build living, breathing CG worlds around the product and show it in use, then cut every vertical and social version from the same film. Deliverables: Hero films and launch spots; Vertical and social cutdowns; Edutainment and feature explainers; Product reveals and detail callouts. Selected work: Lenovo Pro 7a; Sonos — Not Not Magic; Lazer KinetiCore 2026. ### [Digital Asset Libraries](https://frame48.com/services#asset-libraries) A production-ready CG double of every product in a line, that every team and partner can draw from. One shared source of truth saves cost and keeps the look consistent across every asset, now and in future campaigns. Deliverables: Master CG product builds; Render libraries across full product lines; Every colorway and configuration; Reuse for new campaigns and formats. Selected work: Hundreds of Shimano component renders across the XTR, XT, and Deore groupsets; The Sonos range, from Arc to Era, Ace, Sub, and Play, in every colorway. ### [E-Commerce Assets](https://frame48.com/services#ecommerce) High-resolution product imagery and motion optimized for online stores, product pages, and marketplaces. Every SKU, angle, and colorway comes off the same render library, from hover states to a full catalogue. Deliverables: Product page stills in every angle; Interactive and hover-state product video; Full-catalogue render sets; Marketplace and retailer imagery. Selected work: Sonos Ace, Sub 4, Era 300, and Arc Ultra product experiences; Shimano component catalogue, 71 SKUs from one render library; Lenovo tablet product renders. ### [Social & Out of Home](https://frame48.com/services#social-ooh) Short-form motion for social, display, and always-on campaigns, and ultra-high-resolution renders for billboards, transit, and retail displays. Frequently added later in production as additional deliverables, we are able to reformat and spin up out-of-home specific alts with ease. Deliverables: Social films and loops in 1:1 and 9:16; Display banners and site takeovers; Billboard, transit, and retail display renders; Always-on campaign content. Selected work: Shimano S-PHYRE, RC, and XC shoe films; Sonos transit and billboard campaigns; Shimano OOH campaign. ### [Full Service Post-Production](https://frame48.com/services#post-production) Every Frame48 project is finished in-house: edit, sound design, music, color, and the final mix. We handle it all, soup to nuts, so picture and audio are built together from the first previs to the final conform, resulting in a cohesive film throughout all of production. Deliverables: Edit and finishing; Sound design and final mix; Music; Color grading. Selected work: Every hero film on this page, finished in-house. ## Featured work - [Sonos — Not Not Magic](https://frame48.com/work/sonos_summer) - [Lenovo — Pro 7a](https://frame48.com/work/lenovo-pro7a) ## Portfolio - [Frame48 — House Reel](https://frame48.com/work/2026-reel) (Reels, 2026): To celebrate 10 years in the making...
